At Big Kahuna’s, we take your group’s fun seriously. Please read over these polices to familiarize yourself with our reservation and advance ticket procedure to make your group’s visit a complete success.

Policies

• Groups must contain at least 20paying members to qualify for a group rate.
• Advance reservations, at least three days prior to your outing date, are required.
• The entire group must be handled by, and paid for by, one person.
• If inclement weather occurs, groups may change their reservation by 9am the morning of their scheduled visit.
• A deposit is required at the time of your reservation, which will be applied toward your group’s total admission bill.

Reservation Procedure

Whether you are planning a fun getaway for a large family, or a corporate party for a few hundred, our group sales specialists make your outing simple to plan.

Use the checklist below to ensure we have all the information needed to make your groups visit a success:

Reservation checklist

• The number of adults in your group who are 48 inches tall or taller.
• The number of children in your group who are less than 48 inches tall.
• Infants (age 2 and under) are admitted free.
• If you have chosen our token meal option, the number of total meals and the breakdown of each type.

The date of your visit.

• Please allow enough time for our Group Sales specialist to receive your payment and send your admission packet and tickets to you.
• If you are in need of promotional materials, please let us know how many posters and/or brochures you would like.
• Contact information, including a cell number we may reach you at the day of your visit.
• If you are arriving on a charter or school bus, please let our specialist know so that we may reserve a parking space for your group.
• Tax-exempt form (if applicable).

Payment Information

To ease your group’s entry into the park, we prefer all groups to be paid in full. At the time of your reservation, our group sales specialist will ask you to secure your commitment with a $100 deposit* and provide you with a total bill.

Please prepay your admission by either:

1. Mailing your payment to Big Kahuna’s, Attn: Group Sales, 1007 Highway 98 E, Destin, FL 32541
2. Visiting the Group Sales office
3. Calling the Group Sales office with a credit card

We accept cash, all major credit cards, personal checks with proper ID and business checks.

Tax-Exempt Groups

If you are a tax-exempt entity, you must be tax-exempt in the state of Florida and provide our office a copy of your tax-exempt certificate to receive a non-taxed admission.

Receiving your Admission Package

When your full payment has been received, our specialists will Priority Mail your group’s admission tickets, receipt for your purchase, food tokens (if applicable), park information and other applicable items to your requested address. If your visit date is drawing near, you may also arrange to pick up your package at Big Kahuna’s, or you may request that your packet be mailed overnight. There will be a charge of $14.00 for this service.

We Have a Few More…

If you need to add additional group members, you may do so by visiting the Group Sales office prior to the park’s opening on the day of your scheduled visit.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

If your groups visit needs to be rescheduled for a different day, please call us as soon as possible. For reasons other than inclement weather, you must call the Group Sales office at 850-837-4061, ext. 30 at least 75 hours prior to your scheduled visit to change or cancel your reservation or you will forfeit 50% of your prepaid admission.

In the event of proper cancellation, your prepaid admission is refundable provided all tickets, tokens and admission materials are returned to us within five days of your cancellation notice.
